UNIONDALE, N.Y. - For just the third time in franchise history, the New York Islanders are perfect through their first four games.John Tavares scored the decisive goal of the shootout and the Islanders beat the San Jose Sharks 4-3 on Thursday night.San Joses Logan Couture and New Yorks Kyle Okposo traded goals earlier in the shootout before Tavares beat Alex Stalock in the fifth round.
